Our shows are suitable for almost all events in a variety of venues, including weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events. As well as being highly entertaining, our performances offer a unique glimsp into the Chinese culture. Below are descriptions and explanations for our performances. Lion Dance A traditional lion dance is a symbolic and rich celebration of life, love, prosperity and happiness. Therefore, a lion dance fits in to any kind of celebration. A basic lion dance consists of one or two lions, accompanied by a drum, cymbals, and a gong. Depending on the occasion, it can last anywhere from five to fifteen minutes. The lion's actions and stunts are also adjusted to present a symbolic story for the occasion. For example, a wedding performance might feature two lions who meet and fall in love. All-in-all, a lion dance is a complete package of rhythm, dance, and entertainment. Drumset The drumset is a Chung Ngai Dance Troupe signature. Drumsets feature an array of multiple drums combining a set routine and freestyle drumming into a dynamic and explosive show.
